St. Moritz, 7. November 2011 – Das St. Moritz Match Race, der wichtigste Segelevent in der Schweiz, wird im kommenden Jahr zum zehnten Mal durchgeführt. Dieser, im internationalen Regattakalender etablierte Anlass, wurde bereits von grossen international-bekannten Namen wie Ian Williams, Matthieu Richard oder Ed Baird gewonnen und findet im 2012 vom 28. August bis 2. September statt.
 
Als Teil der World Match Racing Tour, der Weltmeisterschaft dieser Disziplin, wird das St. Moritz Match Race auch im kommenden Jahr einige der weltbesten Match Racer an den Start bringen und den besten Schweizer Teams die Chance bieten, sich mit der Weltspitze zu messen.
 
Das zehnjährige Jubiläum des St. Moritz Match Race bietet allen Grund zum Feiern ; es lohnt sich, sich dieses Datum in der Agenda vorzumerken.

Welcome to St. Moritz Match Race’s Newsletter. In this edition we look back at St. Moritz Match Race 2011, and remember the best moments of this event. Doesn’t it already seem a long time away? Oh well, it only means that the next edition is coming closer!

The World Match Racing Tour 2011 is also coming to an end, with only one event left until the Grand Finale in Malaysia on November 22-27. We look at who’s in and who’s out of contention for the 2011 World Champion title.

Last but not least, we welcome good news for match racing in Switzerland - with a new women’s team and another event next week - and listen to some testimonies, and good memories, from last summer’s Corviglia Challenge.
