Allegra & welcome to the St. Moritz Match Race
St. Moritz Match Race is a very special event for the world's best sailors: nowhere else do they sail at such an altitude, with such specific wind conditions and in such beautiful scenery; nowhere else do they compete for the legendary title "King of the Mountain".
Our event has been part of the Alpari World Match Racing Tour - the official World championship of Match Racing - since 2005. Twelve teams compete during five days in order to reach the final. The show is fantastic; the most spectacular part - the start - takes places just in front of the grand stand, some 15 meters away from the public.
Because of lack of sponsorship the 2013 edition of St. Moritz Match Race had to be cancelled. The goal is to present next year again an excellent sailing event in the mountains. We are looking forward seeing you in 2014 at the "sailing stadium" of St. Moritz, sharing the show and the action with us.

Richard Races into Contention for Qualifying Top Spot
Snow began to fall on Lake St. Moritz today as two-time ‘King of the Mountain’ Mathieu Richard went on a seven match unbeaten run at the St. Moritz Match Race third day of qualifying.
